I am a limited license social worker certified in the state of Michigan. I received my Masters in Social Work at Wayne State University with a focus on Infant Mental Health in 2023. I have 2 years of specialized experience in infant mental health home visiting. With a deep commitment to supporting both parents and children, I have built my practice with a focus on fostering healthy attachments and promoting emotional well-being in early childhood, both for children and their parents.

My approach to therapy is grounded in motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques, which allow me to work collaboratively with clients to explore and overcome the challenges they face. With a focus on empathy, active listening, and goal-setting, I help clients tap into their intrinsic motivation and make meaningful, lasting changes in their lives. My work is rooted in the belief that emotional well-being begins with strong, supportive connections, and I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can express themselves freely and work toward healing and growth.

Whether you're navigating the complexities of parenting, managing stress, or addressing anxiety and depression, my goal is to help you build resilience, improve your self-image, and find practical strategies for creating a balanced, fulfilling life.

Trying to find the right therapist can be a daunting task when there are so many options. However, taking the time to do the research is a big step towards making your mental well-being a priority, and that is a win in my book. As a therapist, my goal is to make you feel safe, empowered, and free to express yourself in my office. My office is an inclusive space where all identities feel they can be vulnerable as we work together.

I work with people who are experiencing symptoms of depression or anxiety, ADHD, and complex trauma. I want to make sure you feel confident tackling anything life throws your way and that you realize you are much stronger than your past may have led you to believe.

I will approach our sessions with empathy and support as we discuss life's ups and downs, so you feel supported. This will be a partnership, and I want to work with you to make sure I am providing the support you need. I try to bring humor and a youthful spirit to our sessions to show that, while life is hard, there are still little joys to look forward to each day.

I have experience working in both outpatient and partial hospitalization settings, where I developed strong clinical skills with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, and related challenges. My therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which I use to support clients in developing coping strategies and making meaningful changes.

I take a client-centered, collaborative approach to treatment, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs, goals, and strengths of each individual. I aim to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard and understood while helping them identify and shift unhelpful thoughts to support growth. My goal is to help clients build practical skills they can use in their daily lives to effectively manage symptoms, improve emotional regulation, and enhance overall well-being.

If you’re reading this, you have already taken the first step in prioritizing yourself. It takes courage to seek help. Little wins like this should be celebrated! When you celebrate your wins, you build self-confidence. When you are confident and believe in yourself, your struggles seem easier to handle. My job is to support you on this path of self-discovery, lifting you up every step of the way! As a therapist, I love to help my clients build healthy habits that will enhance their mental health and get them out of fight or flight (survival mode), always prioritizing what lights them up and makes them happy.

I was a classroom teacher for many years and, while it is true kids are resilient, the most successful students were always the ones who had strong relationships with the adults in their lives. That is why I am such a champion for therapy! When you start to feel relief, it is like a positive domino effect for the whole family. The best way to take care of others is to take care of yourself.
