I am a limited license social worker certified in the state of Michigan. I received my Masters in Social Work at Wayne State University with a focus on Infant Mental Health in 2023. I have 2 years of specialized experience in infant mental health home visiting. With a deep commitment to supporting both parents and children, I have built my practice with a focus on fostering healthy attachments and promoting emotional well-being in early childhood, both for children and their parents.
My approach to therapy is grounded in motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques, which allow me to work collaboratively with clients to explore and overcome the challenges they face. With a focus on empathy, active listening, and goal-setting, I help clients tap into their intrinsic motivation and make meaningful, lasting changes in their lives. My work is rooted in the belief that emotional well-being begins with strong, supportive connections, and I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can express themselves freely and work toward healing and growth.
Whether you're navigating the complexities of parenting, managing stress, or addressing anxiety and depression, my goal is to help you build resilience, improve your self-image, and find practical strategies for creating a balanced, fulfilling life.

If you’re reading this, you have already taken the first step in prioritizing yourself. It takes courage to seek help. Little wins like this should be celebrated! When you celebrate your wins, you build self-confidence. When you are confident and believe in yourself, your struggles seem easier to handle. My job is to support you on this path of self-discovery, lifting you up every step of the way! As a therapist, I love to help my clients build healthy habits that will enhance their mental health and get them out of fight or flight (survival mode), always prioritizing what lights them up and makes them happy.
I was a classroom teacher for many years and, while it is true kids are resilient, the most successful students were always the ones who had strong relationships with the adults in their lives. That is why I am such a champion for therapy! When you start to feel relief, it is like a positive domino effect for the whole family. The best way to take care of others is to take care of yourself.
